The 2nd day was Whitehorse to Ft. Nelson. It was a very long days drive on the very little road, but we stopped at a natural hotspring on the Laird River for a break. It was about a 1/2 mile from the road down a little wooden walkway. Snow and frozen trees surround it and they've built a platform and changing rooms to be able to enjoy this amazing experience! We saw caraboo and bison everywhere! It was also the day the back window on the suburban shattered about 1 1/2 hrs out of Ft. Nelson. Jason tried to temporarily fix it with a trashbag and duct tape. Sadly the trashbag was too small and he ran out of duct tape. We listened to it flap for 1 1/2 hrs in the dark of night in 6 degree weather. Once we got to the hotel Jason went out and found more tape and did such a good job that it lasted until we got to Pittsburgh to get a new window put in.
