Iditarod 2009

Mom came in from NJ yesterday and we thought it was a good excuse to see the official start of iditarod :) It was in Willow, AK and started at 2pm. We drove up from our house, parked at the local high school and took a shuttle to the event. It was a little chilly at 20, but it was a beautiful day. Jason tried a carabou sandwich and we checked out a fur salesman and other local venders. It was fun and a good day for everyone :)
