Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day weekend we all actually had 3 days off! We drove 6 hrs to Valdez, AK. It is a beautiful area mostly known for it's boating and fishing community on the bay. Jason did some salmon fishing and the kids and I enjoyed relaxing and being away. Jason and Noelle (friends of ours) lent us their trailer which was wonderful!! We had heat, a bathroom and a little more room when we were stuck inside because of the weather. Saturday was beautiful, just chilly, but Sunday the clouds moved in and it rained off and on the rest of the weekend. We saw our first bears NOT behind a fence of some kind :) Actually we saw 4 bears total...1 grizzly and 3 black bear. It was an amazing experience and everyone had a great time!
